    Question how to change the default tablespace for indexes?

    Hi All,
    Can anyone tell me how to change the default tablespace for indexes? I am using oracle 8.1.7 on Solaris.

    partitioned index?

    alter index xxxx modify default attribute tablespace yyyy

    Sorry, but it is non partiotioned index.

    You can use

    ALTER INDEX indx_name REBUILD tablespace ts_name;
