Thread: ORA 257 archive errror on productaion database

    I shutdown abort, immediate and restatred database.
    I am able to connect trhough sqlplus, svrmgrl, TOAD
    but not able to connect through JDBC....
    It through error ORA-00257 archive connnect internal ....

    there was one redo log which was STALE , I removed that also after archiveing..
    Still I am getting same errors

    Did you check for the write permissions on

    LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST..

    It is solved . jdbc was talking to two databases and 2nd database disk was full.
