    Question

    Hi all,

Apps 11.0.3/ Oracle 8173 on Win NT.

After submitting conc. request. Request remains in Pending/normal mode for long time. and then it changes to Running/Normal.

What could be done to reduce the time for which it is remaining in Pending/normal mode.

    This happens for all users.

    Pl. advise.

    Thanks in Adv.

    Hi,

Pls take a look on the 'Cache Size' of the concurrent managers, e.g. Standard. And the 'Sleep Seconds' of the workshift for the concurrent manager.

Increasing the 'Cache Size' will 'cache' more pending concurrent requests in the job queue and let the concurrent manager processing it before it 'wakes up' according to the 'Sleep Seconds' defined.

For the details, please refer to the Oracle Applications System Administrator's Guide - Chapter 5

    Regards,

    Eddy Ng
