Undo Tablespace problem

Hi,
I have set my undo_tbs to 1.2gb. It should be release back the space after the process (that taken 700M) commited, rite?
But I notice that there are nothing change to reduce the freespace of the undo_tbs. Would it mean that the undo_tbs will keep on increasing? or How to release the space for my undo_tbs ?

it wont get released because it has to use it for flashback queries, it will free when he has to
if you dont want to use flashback then set undo_retention to 0...

set the undo_retention to low value and even after the active extent becomes inactive immediately space will not be realeased.
