    Hello,

i have problems renaming the global name of my db.
the global name should by dwora but the system adds us.oracle.com so that it is dwora.us.oracle.com!

How /Where can i make changes?

Look at the domain in the sqlnet.ora. If you remove it from there Oracle won't add the domain to aliases. You can also turn off global names in your init file.

You must also set the global_names parameter in the init.ora file to false.

commenting or deleting the values in the
    NAMES.DEFAULT_DOMAIN =
    parameter alone will not help.
