    Dear Gurus,

Someone said that Redhat7.2 doesn't support Oracle's Standby DB. I want to check out it. If you could tell me the metalinks, I will appreciate it.

    Hi.

When I last checked Oracle did not support any Oracle product on RedHat 7.2. Oracle9i is only certified against RedHat 7.1.

I believe RedHat are in the process of getting 7.2 certified, and will no doubt follow soon after with 7.3 but until then I would steer clear of anything other than the certified distribution unless you want Oracle to wash their hands of your installation.

    Cheers
    Tim...
