    Unhappy

    I was trying to run ...RMAN, but i got no respose--just process hang.
    bash-2.03$]. oraenv
    ORACLE_SID=SPTC0538
    ORACLE_HOME=/home/u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.5
    bash-2.03$]rman
    from this point on i am not getting response......

    A couple of ideas.

    1. Make sure that RMAN is installed.
    2. Make sure the location of the executable are in your path.

    where sqlplus, and svrmgrl ...
