In Form 3.0 source files have extention *.inp.
This is text files of form application lile *.fmt files in Oracle Form 6i.
And u can write application code on SQL(PL/SQL).
For leonard905:

About what version of Forms we are tolking?
Can u give more detail question?

In Forms 6i :
*.fmx --> executeble files
*.fmb --> binary (for develop) files
*.fmt --> source code text files
*mmx --> menu executeble files
*.mmb --> menu binary files
*.mmt --> menu text files
...
In Forms 3.0 :
*.frm --> executeble files
*.inp --> source code text files
...
Menu files create seperate Oracle tools, named Menu 5.0.

INP was for INPut files, AFAIK.
