Is it possible to have two failsafe listeners + 2 services (for 2 databases) running at the same time on each node in a cluster?

    Oracle 8.1.7
    Oracle Failsafe 3.1.2
    Win2K Advanced Server
    Win NT

Well spotted. Yes, you're right because I tried to implement an active/active configuration but seemed to be getting TNS adapter error. I think I'll try and resolve this first and post any question that I may have.

    Thanks.

This is the error I'm getting.
Could not start the OraHome81TNSListenerfslvri0116 service on local computer. The service did not return an error. This could be an internal windows error or an internal service error.
