    Below is an article where Oracle want to remotely manage clients production databases. Question So what happens to those production DBAs who would not be employed by Oracle?.

    Yes, I think all production DBA jobs are dying out. Unless you work for Oracle, you are worthless. You had better start studying COBOL and ISAM to secure a future.
