I need to get some information on performance benefits of using views Vs tables.
I have been researching on the internet for some good articles that I could present to
my client. So far with no luck.
Thank you in advance!

Once you have eliminated all of the impossible,
whatever remains however improbable,
must be true.

I'm not sure you can characterize a view as having performance benefits. The best benefits derived from views are security, convienence and consistency. Views hide query complexities, provide additional security layers and insulate from changes to underlying tables. A view is only a logical representation of the data and therefore performance is still dependent on the underlaying table/index structure and the quality of the sql that creates the view.
