I have a dictionary-managed tablespace with a pctincrease of 50.
It is actualy 500M.
If i transform a dictionnary-managed tablespace into a localy-manage tablespace with uniform extent of 128k
using the dbms_space_admin package. Will my tablespace be smaller?

Hi,
When u convert into a LMT fragmentation is avoided. So, previously if ur DMT is heavily fragmented
then you will see more amount of free space in your tablespace.
Since Oracle maintains all the information about LMT in the header of the datafile itself, overhead is avoided.
Vijay.
