    Hi,

I'd like to find out if it is possible to spell check text fields in oracle forms before submission to the database.

My users enter data into a CLOB and it would be of great help to them if they could verify the spelling as they create reports from these fields that are dispatched to various people.

    Many Thanks.

U have to use OLE object in ur form and connect to some speller
(for example from MS Word, or any others).
and, using OLE Form package pass to speller ur CLOB object (as text).

Just change the default system editor (which does not allow spellchecking) to MS Word or Wordpad. This is simple.
