    How can I calculate the size of the database.
    Is it sum of size of all data files ,redo-log files and control files? Please advise.
    Thanks

    select sum(bytes/1024/1024)MB from dba_data_files; and
    select sum(bytes/1024/1024)MB from v$log;

    Total of this would give the space allocated (not the one used up).
