I'd like to be able to have any Oracle users created in one database, to be created automatically in a second database.

    Anyone suggest anything?

Basically I want same username/passwords in both databases so that the 'joining' of app A and app B is seamless to the user. So when App A creates an Application user as well as the Oracle user I'd like - somehow - for an identical user to be created in the database that App B uses.

Anyone ever done anything like this? I'm using 8.1.5 on NT4

I think you can create a db link and then modify your user creation scripts to create user in both the databases.
