Thread: Index question

    If an index rebuild process blow out for some reason ( For example not enough TEMP tablespace )
    1- Does is destroy the original index as well ?
    2- Does it destroy the index analyze stats as well ?

    Please give me the accurate answer.

    Are you quiet sure ?? Even if in the middle of rebuild you reboot the computer ?

    Yes.

    If you kill any index (re)build, via reboot or whatever, the system is returned to it's state prior to the operation.
