Thread: more than one language!!!

    Cool

    hi all,

    does someone know how to store data in three different languages in a 8i database and query the database to get results ( let us say bills) in the three languages???

    First you'll need to use a character set that supports the languages you want to store (UTF8). If you're using 9i, use AL32UTF8 as UTF8 will be discontinued.

    Then you can select, insert, update and delete foreign language data.

    This is not necessarilly a bad suggestion. But (s)he could consider also JA16EUC for DCS and AL16UTF16 for NCS (if the base is 9i).
