I have created the standby database for testing purpose.in V8.1.6 on sunOS.
I have to test parallel recovery in standby database to check the recovery.
Anyone plesae give me tips how to procced the parallel recovery testing..in standby.

Hi folks,Here is some update on parallel recovery...
I have generated more archive logs in primary and ftped to secondary
"Recover standby database parallel 12" is the command I used.
Noticed some diff in time between ll 'l and normal recovery.
Ofcourse I have 6 datafile (My table spread over these files)
to write.
