Thread: linux and oracle9i halt,help !

    I use oracle 9i on redhat linux7.1,but when it running about every 8 hour ,the linux halt and all of the processes halt ,and i cann't use "shutdown" command to restart the server and must power off the computer ,how can i do ,please help me!

    check $ORACLE_BASE/admin/SID/bdump/alert_SID.ora file for the error message. Let us know of what is the error message that you get in there?
