    Question

Does anyone know what would happen if I change the default password for INTERNAL.

Would the database be afected in anyway as a result of the password change?

    Please advice...

Use the ORAPWD utility to change the paswordof internal.

Keep in mind that internal connection is no longer available in 9i and you have to use as sysdba connections. I think it is a better idea to get used to it.

    General question:

But gurus, wwhen you query the v$pwfile_users in 9i, you can still see the internal entry. How?
