    Hi Friends,

I was facing problems to data migrate from WE8ISO8859P1 character set database to TH8TIASCII character set database.

I could import it but data was not traslated accordingly. It was showing ????? characters.

I have edited the dump file in hex editor and I have changed following:

For WE8ISO8859P1 character set first 3 character were: xx xx 1F

    I made it : xx xx 30

After only this change I could successfuly import the data without any problems.

ANY BODY HERE KNOW WHAT THIS VALUE STANDS FOR. If you know the structure of Exported DUMP FILE, please let us know.

I am interest to know meaning of first top header part of the dump file.

    Thanks,

    Rajendra
