    My listener stopped logging as of Jan 4th. Any ideas what is wrong and what to do.
    Thanks

    Hi jeff,
    I had done "set log_status" to on before doing my post.
    So when i do "show log_status" it returns that it is set to ON.
    But how or what do I do to to see that it has starting logging or not. I have tried connecting to the dbase (as internal/oracle) from another machine but still no luck.
    Thanks

    Check. did u set parameter:
    TRACE_FILELEN = /*length of trace file in K bytes*/
    if yes then check filesize of listener.log file.

    Check to see if your log file is filled up? on such case you need to trim or rmove the log. and create a new one.
