Thread: OEM connection Problem

    dear all
    I am trying to connect to database using OEM
    it gives error

    ORA-12571 TNS:Packetwitter failiure
    Oracle Error Documentation does not give any
    information

    I am able to connect to using SQL*plus
    to same database.

    Previosuly I thought it Oracle Installation
    problem I reloaded Oracle.

    Seem to be some JAVA Problems

    Can anyone tell me solution

    Is the tnsnames.ora files being set correctly, Has the agent being started on the servers. Is the management server is up and running?

    Did u give the proper permissions for the user if it is in NT you have to give permissions as log on as batch permission definitely for the oem to run timely scripts.
