    Dear all,
Anyone try the following scenario before ?

I have one Linux server and one W2K server. All my data are in W2k Server. I thinking to export all the files and import into Linux Server.

I configure such a way that the Linux and connect to the Windows server. Tnsping no issue. SQLPus No issue.

I have problem to perform export in the Linux where I wanted to bypass the ftp command and save into the Linux server directly. But unfortunately, this is won't work and I got the following error messages.

    EXP-00056 : ORACLE error 942 encountered
ORA-00942 : table or view does not exist
    EXP-00000 : Export terminated unsuccessfully

Hopes u understand my problem here.

    Thanks

I don't understand too much your problem.

Are you passing as a parameter the tables= XXXXX.

The problem is, I think, that you are trying to export that doesn't exist in this server.

    Cheers

    Angel
