    When a datafile autoextends, does it get logged anywhere ?

    you can find it from the dictionary views v$datafile .
    The column create_bytes indicates the size in bytes at the time of creation and bytes - current size.

    Even you can check whether it is autoextensible from dba_data_files.

    I've been watching this thread, because I personally could not find it either. Maybe jmodic or sambavan has an idea?

    I've been insvestigating it too and couldn't find anything.

    The only other thing that might be worth investigation would be to dump the controlfile and try to decypher its contents.
