A Question.......... Why can't a privilege be granted only to a user and not to a role????

Because they at Oracle Corp. designed it so . And they've documented that too. I suppose they must have had a very good reason for doing such an exception with this particular priviledge. [Edited by jmodic on 03-22-2002 at 04:20 PM]
