    I want to create two intance in one computer,but I don't know how to create it and how to set parameter about sql*plus!

    please give me some information ,thanks !

    How to depending on your os.
    For eg. on NT you can use the create db or db configuration asst to create a new instance.
    logging on to them thru sql*plus you'll do when promted upon by the host/string/service.

    You can make as many instances as you wish...(i wouldn't know if there is limit). limitations are your memory/physical disks etc.

    maybe you can use oradim.exe. It is usually located in the bin folder.
