It's difficult to say as each company has it's own interpretation of these terms but I suppose you could start of with:

Database Administrator - All the usual stuff. Software installation, upgrade, backup, recovery, tuning etc.

Datawarehouse Administrator - Same as Database Administrator with additional responsibility for ETL (Extraction Tranformation Loading) of new data into the warehouse. Some sites will have a seperate person/department for traditional DBA duties and specialists for the warehousing elements.

Applications DBA - Same as Database Administrator with additional tuning as a result of poorly written Oracle applications

    Cheers

Application DBA - will NOT handle Backup $ Recovery situations, or any technical aspect of Oracle. I.e. Application of Patches, migrating databases, etc. Handle SEGMENT sizing, creation, user creation role creation, indexes management.

Technical DBA - handle all technical aspecs of DBA, backup and recovery, database creation, migration, tablespace creation, datafile manipulation, Oracle installations.

I've been in two LARGE organisations where have this level of differentialtion (One is the largest Telco in Australia). I can sometimes be a right pain in the arse.
