Problems with diagrams

I've created a diagram, and now I have to simplify it without erasing the first one. The problem is that when i delete an entity from the simplified diagram, it is also deleted from the first diagram.
the question is, how can i copy a diagram with all its entities and relationships to make modification, without changing the original one?
