What is the max row size in an Oracle Database Table?
-
i guess it depends on the no. of column and column width.

So, since there is a limit of 1000 columns per table, are you saying that my only limitation on row size is that there be no more than 1000 columns in that row?

That seems to be the case - heres an answer from an Oracle Support forum:
In Oracle8/Oracle8i, a table can have a maximum of 1000 columns. There are size and number restrictions on the datattype(s) of the columns. Those restrictions are what imposes a limit on the row size.
