    Unhappy

    When using RMAN trying to backup my database, getting the following error:
    RMAN-00571: ===========================================================
    RMAN-00569: =============== ERROR MESSAGE STACK FOLLOWS ===============
    RMAN-00571: ===========================================================
    RMAN-03007: retryable error occurred during execution of command: backup
    RMAN-07004: unhandled exception during command execution on channel c1
    RMAN-10035: exception raised in RPC: ORA-19504: failed to create file
    "D:\oracle
    \backup\full"
    ORA-27038: skgfrcre: file exists
    OSD-04010: option specified, file already exists
    RMAN-10031: ORA-19624 occurred during call to
    DBMS_BACKUP_RESTORE.BACKUPPIECECRE
    ATE
    Recovery Manager complete.

    While i am taking cold back though rman i getting the error ora-27038,

    Cool Duh!

    What is it you do not understand about "ORA-27038: skgfrcre: file exists"?

    Do you think that perhaps you are trying to create backup files with the same name as existing files?
