    Hi,

I've done a export from a user and imported that dump into a copy database. Everything has gone across ok, tables/indexes etc.. but some packages and triggers are missing. Is there anyway to just export packages/triggers??

I know i can do another import using rows=n and ignore=n which will create what failed last time but the file is huge and I just wanted to know the above.

    Thanks in advance

    Kev.

I don't think you can export triggers or packages independently. The only levels of heirachcial export are: Table Level, User Level and DB Level. So I guess you might want to use the option you have mentioned. I would personally suggest to drop the schema and re-import the whole DMP.

Is it an improper import or just a question of compilation?
PL/SQL Packages etc have to be recompiled after import.

As an alternative to import/export, if you are after the material for a given user or set of users, consider a spooled SQL script from dba_source:

select text from dba_source where owner=username order by name, line.
