OCP 9i SQL

Hi all DBA's ,

I appeared for 9i sql exam and failed it by one mark..I got 44/60

I read a book by Jason Couchman for this test..

The book prepares for the exam well but what I found was the questions in the exam were tough as compared to in the practice tests in book/cd..

Could any one of you please suggest a nice book/ cd/ practice tests/ sample questions to prepare for all 9i exams..

I am planning to give the next one in few days..

STS worked the best for me for 8i. I am sure it is very good for 9i as well.

I do not think you can take the same exam now. I think you would have to wait 1 month.

sts = Self Test Software. One of the best testing tools for Oracle that I know.

I very well know abt this forum and legalities..

I just asked how much do STS cost??
and when i checked up i found out that its very costly..and I cannot afford it..
so I was looking to find if somebody has got some STS tests..and if they would share with me..that would be helpful

I would agree sumi_ocp. I was a bit surprised when this thread was closed - I was going to reply.

Well, I guess you know by now that STS for one exam is about US$100. But I rather pay it and get ready for the exam instead of wasting US$80-125 for exam and failing.

Rio is right! Comapre to US$125 for exam it is okay. When you hired as Oracle DBA, you'll get reward of it.
Also mind that STS is for testing your strength and weakness on each topics it covered so you can find in which area you need to work on. Practice and understand before you go for exam. I used book from Jason Couchman and exam cram (which is purely exam oriented).
