Thread: Oracle Migration Workbench - not starting

    Hello everyone,

    I am trying to get Oracle Migration Workbench to run. I got the core installed and an Access plug in installed. When I try to run it from the start menu i just get the OWMB splash screen for a second and then it goes away. I am running win2000, I checked memory I should have enough. Anyone run into problem?

    hi KATHY,
    had the same problem, if have two oracle homes already installed say for instance you have both 8i and 9i on the same machine you would need to install the migration workbench in a completely different home from 8i and 9i. Then you would need to make sure in regedit that your default home is 9i and it should work smoothly
