Guys,
I need you help here.
I have 804 enterpr. edition of oracle on my laptop/OS WinNT.
(this i need for i have tables of our Marinemaintenance. application).
Since i'll be going shortly for my 8i exams, i have a 816 cd which i would want to install as well.. in order to practice.
My query(ies);
1. Would i encounter problems in doing so in anyway with my older 804 instalation?
any tips, help.....

My desktop is a windows 2000 machine and I have one database running under Oracle 8.1.6 and two databases running under Oracle 8.1.7. Just make sure you install the Oracle software into a different OraHome directory. In my case, I have C:\Oracle6\Ora81\... and C:\Oracle7\Ora81\... to represent the Oracle 8.1.6 and 8.1.7 versions.
