    Question

    Hello Oracle Persons;

    Here is an interesting one. We have three production boxes running on NT (yuk!).
    We have automated the backup to run at a set time but I still need to manually log into each box daily and ZIP and move the .DMP file and the .LOG for every export.

    So, is there a way to automate this last step of the procedure, I know we can do it in Unix via compress pipes and a shell script but what about win doze. As far as I know winzip is not DOS compatible so "AT" is not an option correct?

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    MH

    try to download pkzip,pkunzip which will help you to zip files from command line.
