    Hi,

    Do we have Oracle for the Mainframes and also does oracle offer connectivity to DB2 installed on Mainframes.

    There is a product called Transparent Gateway for DB2 made by Oracle that will allow your DB2 database to look like an oracle database. I have used it successfully many times.

    where can i get/download this product from.

    I checked the OTN downloads section and it is not there.

    Also what about oracle for mainframes. Is there something like that.

    I just checked my Oracle CD packs also. It has Transparent Gateways for sql server,sybase and some others but not DB2.

    If you can't download it from OTN, then you should contact your sales rep. As long as you are talking to your sales rep, you should ask him if Oracle is available on your platform.
