RMAN ERRORS

Dear Friends,

When i restore the backup to the current location i am getting the following errors:

RMAN -10031 : ORA-19583 occurred during call to dbms_backup_restore.resotrebackuppiece;

RMAN-10035 exception raised ! RPC : ORA-19573
cannot obtain exclusive enqueue for datafile 3;

RMAN-7004 unhandled exception during command execution on channel c1;

Could any one help me pls.

I am working with 8.1.6.0.0 on Windows NT.

Can you please tell me which kind of database recovery you are performing???Is it complete or incomplete recovery??.

I am performing complete recovery, for complete as well as incomplete i am getting the same error:

RMAN -10031 : ORA-19583 occurred during call to dbms_backup_restore.resotrebackuppiece;
