    Hello,

I have to run certein lines having built-ins like 'go_block' before form is commited. But Form is not letting me put it in any trigger like PRE-COMMIT / POST-FORMS-COMMIT / POST-DATABASE-COMMT etc saying 'Illegal restricted procedure' error.

I cannot put the same lines in any button's trigger or on back end.

    Please suggest what to do.

    Thanks, Deepa

You cannot have navigation build-ins in like PRE-COMMIT / POST-FORMS-COMMIT / POST-DATABASE-COMMT triggers. Oracle has made that to ensure that applications will not hang.
That is why there are restriced and non-restricted build-ins.
