    Greeting to all DBAs!
    I have a problem working with Oracle 9i Ent Manager. When I logon to Management Server (with repository) and trying to make a backup from database, it asks to setup default credentials, when I set it, after pressing Ok btn, it changes for example default sys password to something like******** (8 symbols), when I create new job with this stuff, it failes with reason: Authentification failed. How should I set default credentials to sys as sysdba with default password?
    Please help

    Hi,

    Have you setup the default credentials for the host as well? If you are using OEM backups to disk it needs to connect to the host via the agent.

    The user of the EM software must have the 'logon as batch' privilge assigned.
