Thread: Urgent:Received RMAN ERROR from Omniback II

    We attempted to run a hotback up on an 8.0.5 target database with 805 rman today and we received a bunch of errors. I tried to make sense of it but couldnt undersand. Can you see if you can understand these message?

    First, test to make sure your tape subsystem is working. Oracle provides a program called sbt_test to verify.

    Jeff..Based on my research from the metalink oracle says it might be the relinking of OMNIBACK II and RMAN. Do you have any other suggestions?

    You didn't relink oracle after you replaced the libobk library?

    Yes, you definitely have to relink.
