    I will create another database,,,
    How to put its instace in Oratab?

    OS: Solaris 8
    Oracle: 8.1.7

    do this..

    $ cd /etc
    $ vi oratab
    make the entries using following syntax

    $ORACLE_SID:$ORACLE_HOME:N|Y:

    Include all your instances in the oratab.
