    Cool

Olny some Oracle8 exams will retire in March, but the Oracle 8 cert will not. You can finish 4 exams by the end of March, take PL/SQL after March to get Oracle8 certified.
Then you can take 8 to 8i upgrade exam to become 8i certified.

    Do you remember some questions??
Partinioning Improvements means all 3 chapters related to partition objects.
What about other chapters in manual???

What you have used for preparation?
    Was it a hard exam?

    Thanks

I've been an Oracle DBA for about 8 years. I preped for the test by using 8i, reading the Exam Cram for the 8i upgrade and the chapters in the Oracle DBA Exam Guide by Jason Couchman. I do not give out examples of questions as it is againt the OCP aggrement.

    8.0 Retirement

    From the Oracle Certification Site

How does this affect current Oracle8 OCPs?

All OCPs certified on Oracle8 will retain their Oracle8 OCP credential even after the track is retired, and will continue to receive all OCP benefits and recognition for your proven expertise.

I too plan on doing the 8i upgrade, I heard from a frined that the STS did not prepare well. Exam cram, Couchman book should cover most of the areas to pass the exam

    Goood Luck!

    Wink

Only chapter in ILT course books I didn't have a question on was ...

    15. Advanced Queing

Looking at the other way, greatest concentration of questions were on...

    3. Query and Optimizer Enhancements
    4. Summary Management
    7. Partitioning Improvements
