Thread: move lobs

    When I move LOB to a different tablespace all the indexes in the underlying table become invalid and we have to rebuild them.

    Is this normal, why does this happen??

    That is normal. When you move table you have to rebuild all indexes.

    but i didn't move the table I moved only the lob storage.
    Does that also account to the same as moving the table.

    I can assume that lob is a part of a table. Is that right?
