This test was much more straigtforward than I expected. My score was 53/57. 38 was a passing score, I would have been happy to achieve that. I recognized a large percentage of the questions from the STS and ExamCram. The only areas I missed were in regards to memory management (I also spent a great deal of time on those chapters - shared pool, redo log buffer and buffer cache). The key is understanding which V$ tables to check in regards to symptoms and then knowing exactly course of action as suggested in the ILTS. Here is a breakdown on the number of questions in each area
1. overview 1
2. alert, trace files 2
3. dynamic views 3
4. shared pool 7
5. buffer cache 7
6. redo buffer 3
7. i/o 7 (another tough chapter)
8. using Oracle blocks 4
9. sorts 4
10. rollback segs. 4
11. locks 5 (easier than i expected)
12. tuning considerations 5
13. mixed workload 2
14. oracle expert 1
15. MTS 2
each numbered area corresponds to the chapt. in the ilts.
On to B&R and Network admin (does anybody know if B&R is tougher that P&T?).

Congratulations... Keep It Up
I found many questions from RMAN in the B&R exam. So Stress more on RMAN to score better.

Congrats!
B&R is not tougher than P&T. Same level, I think. If you have used RMAN it will be a piece of cake :-) Best of luck in the B&R exam!

RMAN, ok
Thanks for the direction -- RMAN, know it...
Which are the best books for B&R? I hear that SYBEX is no good in this particular area. I do have the ILTS and Couchman - is Exam Cram any good? Thanks for your help.

Re: RMAN, ok
You have more than enough. Concentrate more on the ILTs than on Couchman. Read very carefully the ILTs again and again and try to understand and memorize as much as possible. And you will pass.
