I forgot the "Internal" User Password. The Oracle 805 database is running under win NT os.

Could some one throw me some light on this..?

    Hi Anandharaj

You can use Oradim edit clause to redefine or change internal password. On dos prompt use following command.

ORADIM -EDIT -SID SIDNAME -INTPWD PASSWORD

    Hope this will help.

    Hi,
The default password for INTERNAL is oracle. If you want to change the password for INTERNAL use the ORAPWD utility to recreate the password.

Step 1: Delete the old password file.
Step 2: Create a new password file

    orapwd file=c:\oracle\ora80\dbs\pwd.ora password= entries=n
