Thread: how to tell when DB restored?

    Is there a way of telling when a DB was restored from? We reresh UAT DB's with LIVE DB backups using duplicate databases(RMAN). If I was asked to refresh a DB on say the 16th of Jan from a backup taken in Live the 12th Jan, can I tell from the UAT DB that the data is from the 12th?

    Hope that makes sense :-)

    You might be able to check them through the recovery log views
