Thread: ORA-1555

    Hello All,
    I am getting the ORA-1555 ( SNAPSHOT TOO OLD ) errors and then the batch jobs are ending unsuccessfully, When I restart the job it won't be having any problem in successful completion.

    My doubts are
    1. Why this error comes
    2. How should we arrest this error
    3. What all things i have to/can check on the database , when this error occurs, before restarting the batch job.

    Perform a search (top right on your screen, Search Forums) with a keyword ORA-1555. You will find several threads giving you the desired explanation.
