    Hi,

    I successfully installed ora8.1.7 db and Dev6i on NT on
    different orahomes. Why is that my Dev6i cannot connect to
    my ora8.1.7 db?
    I got an error ORA-12154:TNS:could not resolve service name

    Copy the tnsnames you use in all of the $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin
    $ORACLE_HOME/net80/admin

    and try again
