Label Security (9i)

Is Oracle Label Security part of the 9i enterprise edition (I know it costs extra)?

Is it loaded from seperate CD(s)?

How can I tell if it is installed with my database?

Hi,
Yes it comes with the Oracle Enterprise edition. but you'll have to select it from the custom option. and after the installation is done got to database configuration assistant(a new comp in 9i) and the steps are self descriptive.

Thanks dharma! I now have OLS installed.

But part II : The OLS asministrative guide does not say what scripts need to be run ($ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin) or any init.ora parameters.

I cannot see any of the OLS views such as DBA_SA_GROUPS, etc...

I already have an existing dB and don't want to use configuration assistent because that is for creating new databases only - true?

Change database configuration under Database configuration assistant would help you to modify your configuration.
